The Sustainable FUTURE Summit, a events series organized by the FUTURE Institute for Sustainable Transformation, will regularly bring together experts, decision-makers and interested actors to discuss topics relating to sustainable transformation in society and the economy in greater depth and derive recommendations for action.

The upcoming edition focuses on the Attitude-Behavior-Gap (ABG) - the gap between consumers' attitudes and behavior with regard to sustainable consumption and the use of products and resources.  

Together we want to find out why good attitudes often do not translate into sustainable behavior and which strategies can help to close the ABG. We will navigate through different scientific and entrepreneurial perspectives to develop a holistic understanding of the ABG and explore respective solutions.  

The event offers an interactive format that includes keynote presentations, a workshop and a panel discussion. The impulse presentations highlight various scientific and experimental aspects, from behavioral research and biodiversity to examples of green nudging in the corporate world.
The workshop offers space to develop and discuss concrete measures and strategies for closing the ABG. The panel discussion brings together different perspectives, including science, governmental organizations, companies, and NGOs, to discuss possible solutions. This event is free of charge for all participants.

In addition, a new study by the FUTURE Institute, Consumer Panel Services GfK / YouGov is published, providing new perspectives and multiple recommendations for action.

The Sustainable FUTURE Summit - Edition ABG thus offers a platform for:  
   -  Gaining knowledge in terms of content  
   -  The development of concrete recommendations for action and starting points for industry and science
   -  Personal networking with experts and frontrunners in the context of ABG  

By examining the Attiude-Behavior-Gap and promoting reflective action, we want to pave the way to an ecologically and socially sustainable transformation.
